Intelligentsia is a company created by and for the coffee connoisseur. They have roasting and coffee bar locations in Chicago, California and New York. While still a fairly small business, the company is one of the most respected and well known upscale/gourmet coffee bar chains in the country. Team Intelligentsia regularly performs well in the annual US Barista Championships, taking home 1st, 3rd and 5th place in the 2010 competition.
